3d strokes (after Motherwell) – charred driftwood, acrylic on ply/acrylic on paper/3d digital animation/pen & ink, 2013. These silent three dimensional “graffiti” digital loops followed on from some earlier Robert Motherwell inspired pen & ink, acrylic and charred driftwood studies. These loops have been presented in various ways: continuously looping on recessed on wall mounted large format vertical TVs; as a tablet driven kiosk beside the source studies; and as a stand alone iPad app.
